SpiroExpand PicoControl Kompakt EPCK
The SpiroExpand PicoControl KompaKt is for heating systems with a small power range and is equipped with a single pump system (Solo). Our pressure maintenance systems work according to the principle of pressure maintenance with pumps and closed expansion vessels.
The PicoControl Kompakt Solo is an automatic expansion and pressure maintenance machine with pressure step degassing, built for the maximum working pressure of 6 bar.
The SpiroExpand PicoControl KompaKt Solo is available with the following nominal capacity: 45, 75, 125, 200, 300 and 500 litres.
Available pressure range: usable upper working pressure 4.0 bar.
For example: the EPCK-S125-4.0 is a PicoControl Kompakt with a single pump system (Solo) and a nominal capacity of 125 liters. The maximum upper working pressure is 4.0 bar.

SpiroExpand PicoControl Kompakt devices are designed to take the volume of expansion and maintain a constant pressure in closed hot water heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems in accordance with DIN EN 12828.

Make-up module PCF-1 for the PicoControl Kompakt
With the make-up module, the system water can be replenished when necessary to maintain sufficient pressure in the system. The module is intended for installation in devices of the PicoControl Kompakt series.
The module consists of a shut-off and disconnect valve on the inlet side, water meter with mechanical counter and display of the total quantity, including an electrical impulse output for transmitting the refilled quantity, refill solenoid valve, non-return valve when leaving the outlet and connection fittings as well as the electrical connection cables.
It is controlled from the PicoControl device. The PCF-1 make-up module is manufactured in accordance with the building guidelines EN12828 and SWKI 93-1.
* Optimal degassing with a vacuum degasser or microbubble deaerator
Taking into account the VDI4708 and VDI2035 guidelines, Spirotech recommends the use of a separate microbubble deaerator or vacuum degasser to ensure optimal degassing of heating and cooling systems.
