SpiroExpand MultiControl Modular (EMCM)

The SpiroExpand MultiControl Modular is an expansion and pressure maintenance unit in modular design for combination with pressureless EC expansion vessels (safety valve 0.5 bar) and a usable upper pressure of up to 16 bar.

The three MultiControl Modular systems and the standard upward extended working pressure range enables a wide range of applications:

  1. Solo: Single pump system, pump and overflow valve designed for 100% of the expansion volume.
  2. Duo: Double pumping system, pumps convey in parallel, allowing a greater expansion volume flow to be achieved. The overflow valve is designed for this volume flow.
  3. Maxi: double pump system, the pumps and the overflow valve are designed for 100% of the expansion volume. The 2nd pump is delivered as fail-safe.

The Duo and Maxi systems also have the option of two overflow valves (Twin), which are designed for 100% of the expansion volume.

SpiroExpand MultiControl modular systems are available with a usable upper workload pressure  of up to 16 bar.

For example: the EMCM-D7-6.6-twin is a MultiControl Modular with DUO dual pump system. The maximum upper working pressure is 6.6 bar and the system is equipped with a double valve system (double).

* Optimal degassing with a vacuum degasser or microbubble deaerator

Taking into account the VDI4708 and VDI2035 guidelines, Spirotech recommends the use of a separate microbubble deaerator or vacuum degasser to ensure optimal degassing of heating and cooling systems.
