SpiroExpand MultiControl Kompakt EMCK

The SpiroExpand MultiControl Kompakt series is an expansion and pressure maintenance machine in a compact design. The pressureless expansion vessel (with 0.5 bar safety valve) is attached to the control unit and, unlike membrane expansion tanks, can be operated with 100% tank capacity! The system water and the atmosphere are separated from each other in the expansion tank by a high-quality, replaceable membrane.

With the three MultiControl Kompakt systems and the standard upward extended operating pressure range and flow rate, compared to the PicoControl, an even wider range of applications opens up:

1. Solo: Single pump system, pump and overflow valve designed for 100% of the expansion volume.
2. Duo: Double pump system, the pumps transport in parallel, allowing a larger volume flow to be achieved. The overflow valve is designed for this volume flow.
3. Maxi: double pump system, both pumps and overflow valve are designed for 100% of the expansion volume. The 2nd pump serves as a back-up (fail-safe).

The Duo and Maxi systems also have the option of a double valve system (Twin), two overflow valves designed for 100% of the expansion volume flow.

The MultiControl Compact EMCK is available in the following combinations with a nominal capacity of 45, 75, 125, 200, 300 or 500 litres:

• MCK-S
• MCK-D
• MCK-D Twin
• MCK-M
• MCK-M Twin

All EMCK systems are available with an usable overhead pressure of 4.0, 5.6, 6.6 or 8.1 bar.

For example: the EMCK-D125-6.6 Twin is a MultiControl Compact with a dual pump system (DUO) and a nominal capacity of 125 liters. The upper working pressure is 6.6 bar and the system is equipped with a double valve system (Twin).

Advantages of the SpiroExpand MultiControl Kompakt

• Already in the basic configuration, four potential-free signal contacts (fault, warning, replenishment active, device function activated) are available!
• The self-supporting construction and the cabinet ensure the lowest possible sound transmission.
• The connections for integration into the system are located on both sides of the device.
• In addition, extensive monitoring measures and the resulting possible use of EV ballast vessels now enable use in systems with a safety temperature of up to 110 °C!
• The automatic degassing function* is installed as standard and is based on the principle of low-pressure degassing (pressure step degassing) according to Henry's physical principle.
